  1. IntroductionThese Terms and Conditions apply to all photography services, bookings, and products provided by Karolina Kruk, trading as Karolina Kruk Photography (“the Photographer”). By booking a session, you agree to be bound by these terms.
  1. Bookings and Deposits

Booking Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only when the agreed non-refundable deposit (£30) has been paid.

Payment: The remaining balance for the photography services must be paid in full on or before the day of the session, unless stated otherwise in writing.

Cancellations & Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, you must provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Deposits may be transferred to a new date at the Photographer’s discretion. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

  1. Copyright and Image Use

Copyright Ownership: In accordance with the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, the copyright of all images taken during the session remains the sole property of Karolina Kruk.

Client Usage License: The Photographer grants the Client a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the delivered digital images for personal, non-commercial use (e.g., social media sharing, personal prints).

Commercial Use: The Client must not sell, license, or use the images for commercial or promotional purposes without prior written agreement and an additional commercial license from the Photographer.

Photographer’s Portfolio: The Photographer reserves the right to use the images for promotional purposes, including website portfolios and social media, unless explicitly opted out by the Client in writing prior to the session.

  1. Image Editing and Delivery

Artistic Style: The Client acknowledges that they are familiar with the Photographer’s portfolio and artistic style. The Photographer will edit images according to their professional judgment.

Unedited Files: Raw or unedited files will not be delivered to the Client under any circumstances.

Delivery Timescale: Final edited digital images will be delivered via a secure online gallery within the timeframe agreed upon during booking (typically 2–4 weeks from the session date).

  1. Liability

Equipment Failure: In the highly unlikely event of total photographic failure or cancellation by the Photographer due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, the Photographer’s liability is limited to a full refund of any monies paid by the Client.

Personal Safety: The Photographer is not responsible for any personal injuries, property damage, or loss sustained by the Client during the photography session, except where required by UK law.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
